Switch to Graphic Mode

Barbara Daley

Barbara Daley, Liverpool have sailed through the North Western leg of the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Regionals straight into the final stage of the 2007 competition. Staff members Lisa Rhead and Deborah Fox produced an innovative, high-fashion entry at the live Regional Final, dressing their stunning model in a Biba halter-neck one-piece to create maximum impact on the catwalk. The hair colour was perfectly executed, and the cut beautifully complementary to the sense of era created by the clothes. All in all it was a winning combination and the salon was voted into the top three from the region by a panel of industry-leading judges.

Lisa and Deborah explained the thinking behind their striking image, stating "we wanted to capture an iconic seventies mood. Styles such as the Purdey and the page-boy were brought bang up-to-date by introducing vibrant shades of red, loads of movement and a revamped shape that can suit everyone."

Having reached the Grand Final five times before, anticipation levels are rising throughout the salon. Lisa and Deborah will be working hard to perfect their techniques and mentally prepare themselves for the thrilling challenge that lies ahead, and their salon are behind them 100%.

"We're very excited to be going through to the Grand Final," said Lisa. "As a salon we are really focussed on competitive hairdressing and this will be our sixth time in the Grand Final. It's an amazing feeling."
