For Jackie Walker and Kathryn Pepper, a first-time appearance in the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final is a dream come true. Having entered the competition three times before, they were determined to take their talents to the next level and created a stunning look that encapsulates the meaning of ethereal beauty.
Jackie and Kathryn explain the thinking behind their striking image: "We wanted to create a short style that was ultra-wearable. The impact of the white blonde really brings out the beauty of the hair cut while the understated tunic dress balances the drama of the overall look.”
For salon owner Jackie, participating in a competition of this nature is an essential part of her team's creative development.
"It's brilliant to see your work being appreciated by such a high calibre of hairdresser,” beamed Jackie. "The whole salon has been involved in the creative process and it's so good for the team to see the talent that is out there. We have all come back to the salon feeling refreshed and excited about the next step in our journey.”
