Cutting Room Creative have recently celebrated their twenty-first anniversary with the company originating in 1986. Since that very first day Cutting Room Creative has grown into a multi-award winning salon at the forefront of the British hairdressing industry. Cutting Room Creative is fronted by three times Northern Winners of the British Hairdressing Awards, Charles and Karen Dodds.

Charles and Karen head the Cutting Room Creative team as Creative Directors. They are a successful award winning pair, having won the title of North Western Hairdresser of the year in 2002, 2003 and 2004 resulting with their induction in to the British Hairdressing Hall of Fame in 2005. They have also won the Northern region of the L'Oreal Colour Trophy three times.

This extremely talented pair have been involved in some spectacular show work, having been on stage at the Royal Albert Hall after winning the Visionary Award in 2004. Their passion and creativity echoes through the entire Cutting Room Creative team who they lead and inspire.

Famous for their colour work Cutting Room Creative have initiated their own unique Colour Bar.  The colour bar is open to view and works on the same principle as an open kitchen in leading restaurants. Cutting Room Creative believe the colour bar takes away the mystique from colouring and allows the client to see how their stylist is preparing their personal colour cocktail.

Charles and Karen have also been instrumental in bringing the fantastic Kerastase LE Diagnostic Avance hair analysis system in to the salon becoming one of the only salons in the UK to use the acclaimed system, which uses breakthrough magnification technology to provide a unique insight into the needs of your scalp and hair
