Hair XS, Nottingham

Stylist and colourist Tanya Henessey has fulfilled a life-long career dream by winning a place at the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy Grand Final 2007, where she will represent her own salon, Hair XS.

Tanya explains the inspiration behind her striking image: "I love the Autumnal colour palate and drew inspiration from crisp golden brows, cherry reds and copper. Vivienne Westwood is a design hero of mine and so the clothes styling reflected quirky yet feminine silhouette that had a strong identity. ”

Tanya has single-handedly earned a place at the Grand Final. She will now compete against the very best in British hairdressing and is already exuding the kind of confidence that comes with being a winner.

"It was a feeling of complete disbelief to hear the salon called out as a winner,” said a stunned Tanya moments after coming off stage. "I've waited a long-time to enter the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy and now that I'm through to the Grand Final, I feel that I stand every chance of winning.”
