The technical expertise of Gary Lees and Kate Thompson has won their salon a place at the illustrious L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy Grand Final where they will compete for the 2008 title. The team from Lees&Thompson created a stunning entry with striking catwalk presence and sophisticated colour work, instantly rocketing them into the final round of the competition.
Gary and Kate explain the inspiration behind their striking image: "This look plays on conflicting tones and textures to create an overall feel of youthful, high-fashion femininity. The leather and velvet of the Christopher Kane dress is balanced by hot and cold tones of blonde and mink in the hair.
With a firm belief in their salon's signature style, the team set out to create a look that was 100% on brand.
"It was an unbelievable feeling to hear our salon name called out, exclaimed a clearly delighted Kate. "This look perfectly encapsulates the style of work we produce in the salon and we are delighted to be representing Scotland with such a stunning image.
