SAKS

Nicola Rowland and Denise Brown are the brains behind an exceptional L'Oréal Colour Trophy entry that has wowed the judges and won them a place at the Grand Final in May. The duo from SAKS in Altrincham, Cheshire faced tough competition at the North Western Regionals but their attention to detail, beautifully executed colour and catwalk-savvy styling pushed them well ahead of the pack and into the final stage of the competition.

"Our look was inspired by the couture catwalks of Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior" explained Nicola and Denise about the evolution of their winning look, "We wanted to encapsulate romance and classic beauty so it was essential to present beautifully healthy, seamless hair colour and high shine finishing."

Having won at the Regional Stage, the team from SAKS will now begin preparations to compete against twenty-seven other finalists at the L'Oréal Colour Trophy Grand Final, which will take place in May at London's Earl's Court, in the hope of being crowned L'Oréal Colour Trophy Winner 2007.

"We are ecstatic," exclaimed the girls. "It's brilliant to see that all our hard work paid off. It's so important to us to be involved in competitive hairdressing as it brings an enormous amount of energy onto the salon floor which, ultimately, is great for our clients."
