Karin Stewart and Stephanie Doherty have produced a slick Men's Image that caught the judge's eye and earned them a place on the Grand Final catwalk. Having taken a shot at the women's award last year, they decided to switch their focus to men's fashion. A decision that seems to have paid off!

Karin and Stephanie explain the inspiration behind their striking image: "We carried out a lot of catwalk research and noticed that strong tailoring was a key theme for men in Autumn/Winter 08/09. Using texture and layers in the clothing, we created a look that was inspired by Prada and complimented it with a short, masculine hair style.”

Their hard work and research clearly paid off, as their entry was received with huge enthusiasm by the audience and judging panel alike. With the Regional's well behind them, the team will now begin preparations for their participation at the Grand Final.

"We thought we'd misheard our name and were momentarily stunned,” exclaimed a clearly delighted Karin. "It's a dream come true to be able to travel to London and present our work in front of so many amazing judges. We simply cannot wait!”
