Rachel Culkin and Scott Jordan from Toni&Guy in Camberley went all-out to fulfil the brief of 'hair inspired by fashion' with a forward-thinking look that wowed the judges.
Rachel and Scott explain the inspiration behind their striking image: "We wanted to explore the kind of Gothic influences that were seen on the catwalks of Gareth Pugh whilst retaining a feminine, beautiful feel. Sombre make-up gave the look an edgy feel while flashes of dark colour in the hair added shine and texture.
They became the third Toni&Guy salon to go through to the Grand Final and it was clear from the cheers of delight that this result was most welcome.
"It took us ages to get to the stage as we had so many supporters hugging us, exclaimed a clearly delighted Scott. "We are both so young and we can't believe we'll be representing the salon in such a high profile competition. It's an honour just to be at the Grand Final. Winning will be a dream come true.
