Capture the winning look
Your winning model look will be recreated by you and captured by a leading photographer in a top London photographic studio. These shots can then be used for your salon promotion as well as utilized for national publicity of your award win.
Shoot date – Thursday 7th June 2012.
The winning teams will be responsible for providing their model and the clothes styling for the shoot.

If you could do anything with your career in hair what would you do? Throughout 2012 we will work with you and your salon to help you to fulfill your hairdressing dreams. You, as winners, will receive a tailor-made calendar that will help you excel your skills, talent and business to a whole new level.
A few examples of what you could do during your year of dreams are:
- Style a photoshoot for a leading UK fashion publication such as Vogue
- Meet you hairdressing idol
- Work backstage at London Fashion Week
- Work backstage at Graduate Fashion Week
- Attend a trip abroad to see a hairdressing hero work live
- Work with a L’Oréal Professionnel Commercial Manager to improve your salon’s business
- Put into place a process of training which could lead to your colourist becoming a L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Specialist
L’Oréal Professionnel Young Colourist Award
Become Part of the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Academy
If you win your region you will become part of the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Academy for 2012/13. The seven amazing winning colourists will be put through an incredible year of training including:
- An education program with a top industry colourist on creative colouring techniques
- You will be invited to partake in a programme that will ultimately lead to you becoming a L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Specialist (if you are not already)
- You will also receive numerous PR opportunities across your winning year.
Mizani Afro Catwalk Look Award

Mizani Editorial Shoot
You will take part in the Mizani shoot art directed by one of the leading names in the industry. This will be used in an ethnic consumer magazines in 2012/13 and to promote the Mizani Afro Catwalk Look Award for 2013.
