In 2011 Russell Eaton, Leeds picked up the L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy they have had an incredible year partaking in a range of amazing activities such as, working backstage at London Fashion Week, completing a fashion-led editorial look for the UK style-bible Vogue and jet-setting off to Madrid on the Exposure tour to network with some of the UK hairdressing industries most exciting fresh talent.
“Winning the 2011 L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy has been an incredible experience, gaining the industry recognition is incredible. There are so many opportunities that have become available since winning the award and lots of doors of opportunity that have been opened. Being given the chance to work alongside our industry idols and experience the world of high fashion is just a dream come true!”
The team combined both their technical expertise with their knowledge of catwalk trends to produce their award winning model look. Each team comments on the key elements incorporated into their winning formula;
“We invested a lot of time into researching key catwalk trends, we worked closely with a clothes stylist and a make-up artist to create the total look, and kept the brand image in mind at all times, true to L’Oréal Professionnel , luxury, healthy and wearable hair!”
