Create a female total look featuring a forward-thinking haircut and finish complemented with a skilfully executed, beautiful colour inspired by one of the catwalk trends for Autumn/Winter 2010/11

Your Photographic Entry

  • Entrants must create a female total look featuring a forward-thinking haircut and finish complemented with a skilfully executed, beautiful colour inspired by one of the catwalk trends for Autumn/Winter 2010/11
  • Entrants must only use L’Oréal Professionnel colour and styling products on their models.
  • Entrants must send two identical, colour 10”x8” photos of their female model fulfilling the brief above. These may be a head or full-length shot.
  • Entrants must enter a photo that is no more than one year old.
  • Entrants must clearly mark on the back of their photos that they are entering the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy category and attach the two photos to the correct entry form in the 2010 L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy entry pack, downloadable HERE
  • Entrants may not enter the same picture for more than one award category.

Entries to be sent to L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy, 2nd Floor, 255 Hammersmith Road, London W6 8AZ.
 
All titles and prizes are awarded to the salon rather than individuals within a team.
The team entering the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy should consist of no more than four people including the model and all members of the team must be UK residents and be 16 years or over on closing date of entry, 1st March 2010. Apart from the model (who may change between the photographic stage and the Regional Final stage only) the other team members must remain the same throughout the competition (from photographic entry stage through to the Regional Final stage and/or the Grand Final, as applicable).
The model, clothes, make-up and hairstyle must remain the same at both Regional and Grand Final stages.
 

Entries can be received from Monday 4th January 2010. All entries must reach L’Oréal Professionnel by Monday 1st March 2010. Late Entries will not be permitted.

To create a female look that demonstrates a wearable, commercial, fashion led high street colour and finish.

  • Entrants must create a female look that demonstrates a wearable, commercial, fashion-led high street colour and finish
  • Entrants must only use L’Oréal Professionnel colour and styling products on their models.
  • Entrants must send two colour 10”x8” photos of their female model fulfilling the brief above, these may be a head or full-length shot.
  • Entrants must enter a photo that is no more than one year old.
  • Entrants must clearly mark on the back of their photos that they are entering the Young Colourist Award category and attach two photos to the correct entry form in the 2010 L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy entry pack, downloadable HERE.

This is a competition for individuals, not teams, and the colourist only will be the named winner in conjunction with the salon the colourist works at. Entrants entering the Young Colourist Award must be a UK resident and be between 16 years and 25 on closing date of entry, 1st March 2010. Proof of age is required with entry such as a photocopy of the entrant's passport. Entries can be received from Monday 4th January 2010. All entries must reach L’Oréal Professionnel by Monday 1st March 2010. Late entries will not be permitted. Should entrants reach the LIVE Final stage, entrants and their model will need to be available to come to the L’Oréal International Academy in London on 14th May 2010. Entry to the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy – Young Colourist Award is free.

 

Mizani Afro Catwalk Look Award The 2010 Brief

To create a total look on a female of African/Caribbean descent featuring a forward-thinking hair cut and finish complemented with skilfully executed beautiful colour inspired by one of the catwalk trends for Autumn / Winter 2010/11.

  • Entrants must create a female look on a model of African/Caribbean descent that demonstrates a forward thinking hair cut and finish complemented with a skilfully executed beautiful hair colour inspired by one of the catwalk trends for Autumn/Winter 2010/11.
  • Entrants must only use L’Oréal Professionnel colour and styling products or Mizani Products on their models.
