As Creative Director of Charles Worthington salons, Charles has won many international awards, including British Hairdresser Of The Year twice, Men’s Hairdresser Of The Year and Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year.
He now has four buzzing London salons seeing over 2,500 clients a week and attracting celebrities such asJamie and Jools Oliver, Mena Suvari, Joely Richardson, Goldie Hawn, Jodie Kidd and Erin O’Connor .
In 2006 he was listed in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List to be awarded an MBE for Services to Hairdressing.
Charles is constantly on call for red carpet events, from the BAFTAS to Cannes, the Globes to the most important event on Hollywood calendar, the Oscars. Charles is also the resident hair expert on the UK morning TV show ‘This Morning’ giving advice to the nation and performing live make-overs. In addition, his Creative Team – the next generation of up-and-coming hairdressing talent – travel the globe for international fashion weeks, special events and session styling assignments.
Charles is also personally involved in developing and testing his ever-increasing portfolio of award-winning product ranges, from the formulation stage to the finished product on shelf.
