Terry Calvert opened the first Clipso salon in Watford in the late seventies and to date he and his group have won an amazing 22 hair awards including seven times Regional Hairdresser of the Year, twice Artistic Team of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards and the 2005 L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy Glamour Magazine Award. His accolades, along with a reputation for generating home-grown talent, have firmly established Terry as a respected industry name. Terry Calvert’s personal achievements include the 2005/06 Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year, 2006 F.A.M.E Team Artistic Director, 2005 Guild of Hairdressers Award of Recognition, British Hairdressing Hall of Fame and British Hairdresser of the Year nominee.
